October settles in Paris, bringing with it a rich and varied cultural program — perfect for making the most of the city, whether you’re a visitor just passing through or an art enthusiast in search of new discoveries. Here is a selection of exhibitions and outings not to be missed this autumn, all easily accessible from LALA Hotel.

Virgil Abloh: The Codes

The Grand Palais is hosting The Codes from September 30 to October 10, 2025, the first European exhibition dedicated to American designer Virgil Abloh, a key figure in fashion, design, and music. The retrospective traces his remarkable career, from the creation of Off-White to his role as artistic director at Louis Vuitton, through 20,000 objects, sketches, and prototypes from his personal collection. An immersion into the universe of a multifaceted artist: architect, stylist, creative director, and Nike collaborator.

Amazônia

Famous, the Amazon is much more than a lush forest: it is the cradle of rich and diverse cultures. The exhibition Amazônia presents the cultural and biological diversity of Amazonian peoples through more than 200 objects and works, notably from the collections of the Musée du Quai Branly – Jacques Chirac and private collections. Illustrations, videos, installations, body graphics, and ephemeral objects reveal traditional and scientific knowledge, cosmologies, gender fluidity, and the connections between humans, animals, plants, spirits, and Westerners. An invitation to discover the Amazon as a source of the future where cultural diversity is essential.

Noires

Since 2022, Roxane Mbanga has been building NOIRES as a dreamlike house. This itinerant project, nourished by her Guadeloupean, Cameroonian, and Ivorian heritage, unfolds at MansA in a new, site-specific version. The Grand Salon becomes the central room of this house, a living space inhabited by voices, presences, and memories. Through illustrations, paintings, sculptures, textiles, furniture, and personal objects, the artist creates a refuge where everyone can tell their own stories and find themselves in a complete and inclusive universe.

150 Years of the Palais Garnier

This exhibition retraces the fascinating history of the Palais Garnier, a theater commissioned by Napoleon III for the elite and which became an iconic monument of Parisian heritage. It reveals how this mythical building evolved from an imperial symbol to a universal venue for opera and ballet, adored by French and foreign audiences alike.

Salon Ob’Art

For four days, the Salon Ob'Art celebrates craftsmanship in all its forms. Meetings with creators, workshops for children, animations, and the Café Métiers d’Art allow visitors to discover the techniques and know-how of artisans. A friendly and enriching experience for the whole family.

Isao Takahata

The exhibition at the Maison de la culture du Japon celebrates the creative genius of Isao Takahata, one of the great masters of Japanese animation and co-founder of Studio Ghibli alongside Hayao Miyazaki and Toshio Suzuki. From October 15, 2025, to January 24, 2026, discover his poetic and humanist universe that revolutionized the world of animation.

Art Basel Paris

This unmissable fair, Art Basel Paris, brings together modern and contemporary art in all its forms: painting, sculpture, installations, photography, and digital art. An essential event for enthusiasts and collectors in search of innovative and high-quality creations.

AURA Invalides

AURA INVALIDES combines orchestral music, video mapping, and light shows to enhance the Dome of Les Invalides. This immersive night show offers a unique sensory experience, allowing visitors to rediscover a Parisian landmark from a magical and poetic perspective.

In the Seine: Found Objects from Prehistory to Today

At the Archaeological Crypt of the Île de la Cité, the exhibition In the Seine presents 150 historical objects retrieved from the Seine, tracing the history of Paris from Prehistory to the present day. A fascinating dive into the city’s past through artifacts and immersive illustrations.

Dia de los Muertos

Also known as the Day of the Dead, Dia de los Muertos takes place every year on November 1 and 2 in Mexico and in many Mexican communities around the world. This joyful and colorful celebration honors the memory of the deceased through decorated altars, traditional dishes, and parades, celebrating life and remembrance in a festive and poetic way.

And of course, for all this and more, the entire LALA Hotel team is at your disposal to help you make the most of your cultural and sightseeing experiences throughout your stay in Paris.
